A client in a country club whom we built stairs for recomended us to make 3 of these game tables.
Not too ornate but I thought they came out nice.

they are nice. I especially like the half lap on the segments. I typically loose tenon but i would bet your joint is a heck of a lot stronger

try this, get two mirrors about 6 x 24 and put them end to end mirror faceing down then duct tape across the seem the same as u would a mitre fold joint and create a hinge then place on your table and look into the mirrors, by moving them open or closed they will show u exactly the right size to divide your pieces when making more than 4 pieces, i can put them on top of a flitch and see the finished table without building it
