Greetings kol, I dont remember the questions that you had about making the doors but I think that this project looks GREAT. What species of wood are we looking at and what type of finish is on it?
How about some details........RCB

This cabinet was made out of plywood and mdf. The doors and the sides are mdf. I built a cabinet using plywood so that I could drill for shelve holes etc. Then on the sides I made a frame to boarder the pyramids. I buiscuited and glued up all of the blocks. I made a jig for the doors so that I could clamp all of the pieces together and have them be flat. The finish is beyond me. The designer had a professional finishing company paint it. I'm glad someone likes it. It was a deffinate thinker because I had never made anything like this before. But that's how you get good. Take on challenges.

Nice work kol. Gotta love designers for giving you a challenge.

Nice project is it okay if i use it if i need to in future jobs? Let me know. Thanks mate.

Glen thanks for the comments. The design is from a designer who is pretty proud of her own designs. But I don't think that theres any way for you to copy it down to the specs so I don't think there could be a problem. So go for it. I hope you sell a bunch of them. This goes for everyone who is interested.

Hey Kol very Fine work! Hey By the way was a CNC table used much on this project..? and 2- If it would be at all possible I'd like to find out how it was finished. I've ran into problems trying to get MDF to Seal properly to achieve a smooth gloss finish.. :(

There's no cnc working for me. He's to expensive:) he he. Not much need for a cnc in my shop. Takes the "hand made" right out of it. Anyways, about the finish, I can't say how it went on this piece because the designer had her own finisher. However, we use zinessers primer. (supposed to be the best stuff) put 2 coats sanding between coats and it seems to work pretty good. Thanks for the compliments and good luck with the painting

Thanks Kol !! I'll give that primer a shot..
say can it be used with AutoBody style Enamels? Would'nt suppose you'd know or not but hey worth a shot.. hehehe

Oh and by the way do you have a place where you've post more of your fine peices?
