Don't get me wrong, your radius cabinet/vanity is beautiful, and the craftsmanship is there but wow is that finish hideous, almost as much as the stone top! Why does everyone want things to look like they are 1,000 years old?

Very nice work, and I like the finish and the top too. Take heart in the fact that workmanship is tangible, and a finish is a matter of taste.

The customer had their painter do the finish. I just primed it for them. the sad thing is the vanity was solid maple. If it were me I would have stained and glazed it

How did you make the curved panels and doors? Is it all MDF?

All of the style and rails on doors and side panels are bent lamination over a full size pattern. All the door and side panels are staved glue up, similar to making a barrel. Also glued up on the same pattern.I made an inside and outside router jig to shape the flats out of the staves and shape the panels.Very time consuming.

I understand glue-lam and I think I understand the staved barrel type assembly using strips with angled edges so they fit together over the curve. I dont see how you routed the edges on the curved panels though.
