This piece was made to accomodate an as yet to be purchased wide screen .
Quarter Sawn Red Oak solids that I have had in my hoard .
Soft close undermonuts and recessed cord chase behind the components .
This piece was made in exchange for some equipment that was owned by a too young a Man before he passed ,his Wife asked me if I could use the machine and I asked if I could build her anything in exchange .There was some special thing here on this one .
Satin pre cat lacquer , Cedar color stain . Sorry for the poor photo work .

Mike, Thank you , the drawer box sides have a shallow rabbet the bottom is glued in as well as the rabbets with a few pins.
She had a 6 year old brand new still in the crate Shop Fox 15" planer , it came to me when my old Makita 2040 resigned for good .

Pricing question: I just built something similar out of cherry and used tempered tinted glass. I should have priced it at $2500. What would you have priced this ?

I understand you built this in exchange for a tool, just asking pro price.

Doug , depending on where you are $2500 is doable , I actually got some dollars as well as the machine in exchange .
