I made this bed for my girlfriends 5 year old son, who loves monster trucks. It took me about 2 weeks to finish it. It's constructed of oak with tons of detail. I loved making this so much I've decided to sell them. Cost is $3000 and I can paint in your choice of colors. I'm currently working on a 4 x 4 Retro School Bus...pics to be posted soon!!! Cool concept. Any kid would be stoked to sleep in that. I would check out your liability insurance however. We were commissioned to build some contemporary children's furniture for a designer for resale. The insurance to be covered for manufacturing those items was almost four times our current yearly rate. I'd check into it before you got to far into reselling them. All it takes is one accident for things to go south real quick.

The quality of the pictures appear to be on par with the quality of the bed.
I second that, cool concept, great looking bed. But my insurance man specifically told me my insurance will not cover any children's furniture.
It's pretty cool but like the other guys said one splinter and goodbye business, money, house, car, dog. Just friendly advice.
