Company Name: KOL WoodworksThis project is part of a dedication I am doing for the Forestry industry. I have already made the logging truck (posted in the gallery a while back) and here in a road grader. I plan on making a dozer, a kenworth with a fith wheel to haul the dozer, (used for skidding) and a loader (also known as a rubber tire for skidding) Please keep in mind that these machines were used when I was younger and today they use machines like a timco for cutting and loading. I cannot find plans for these. Anyways, without the industry we wouldn't be in business so this is my way to show my appreciation.

KOL,
Nice work. Were these built from plans? If so where did you get them? Would love to build something like this in my "spare time" Thanks.

Grizzly sells the plans and you can get the dowel kits. The dowels are the only thing I didn't make and you still have to bore all the holes to make them appear as hydrolics. Cherry Tree Toys is also a good place to get them and they probably have more. These projects are very complicated and you will expect to make a few of the same part. Because they are so small they break easily. I was almost done with the front end stearing and ended up breaking 2 pieces trying to bore the holes a little wider. The kit they sent calls of a certain size of drill bit for a certain dowel. I have found that they oversize the dowels. Make sure to drill a sample and try the dowels. Thanks for the comments. Oh the plans you get are full scale and you can cut your pieces and match it up to the paper. good luck and have fun
