Finished Butternut Libray

WOW now responce from the penut gallery.oooooo well i gess it is that good .but i gess i knew that already .

Robert, give us a chance man! We're with you. My first thought was wow that's a lot of wood. Then I thought Man I wish I could get a customer that has a job like that. Then I thought how much would something like this cost? Then I thought Looks good Robert keep up the good work!

Your library is exquisite! May I please move in? =) I'm certain the photos do not do it justice. I usually favor dark wood but this library has changed my thinking entirely on lighter woods. Excellent job! Can't wait to see another completed project by you.

Sorta bland looking I thought .Probably would have looked nicer with a different color. Finish build up looks ok but could use a bit more pizzazz.
Maybe its the photos that make it look like that .
Overall I think its a nice librarybut would have liked top see some more pop to the wood.
I give it a 7 out of a 10.

I didnt finish it ,It is a french rud .I did all the millwork from vineer work to running all the moldings in my molder.I also wanted it alittle darker but im not the millionare that bought it.If you where to see the room in personyou would see the millwork is perfect and that was not easy.I gess it must be pritty good becouse it will be in a upcoming issue of fine woodworking mag.

Now see this is the sort of job I would have liked to have perticipated on. This looks like it was fun to do. I would have loved to have been there to see the customers face when they first saw it unless they were one of those over the shoulder types that was always there and then it would have been even more fun, to have an audiance. Good looking work guy.
