Company Name: Gehlsen Architectural WoodworksWall cabinet in Honduras mahogany.
I designed and made all the molding myself. It took 12 custom knives to pull off and a little creativity to get the proprtions correct.
I was not completely thrilled with the color, but the was the client choice, not mine.

Paul,
Your work never fails to amaze me! I only wish I was in a market where I could demand the price that would compensate me for the time it would take to do that kind of work. In the midwest, very seldom could you find someone to pay what your work must command.
Did you apprentice under someone?
Your work is definately one of a kind.....very nice job!

I always appreciate everyones interest and comments. Thanks to all that take a look.
I am actually, for the most part, self taught.
Other than high school woodshop, I have no formal instruction on woodworking. I do have a degree in mechanical engineering. Sometimes that helps, sometimes is forces me to over analyze everything.
I read everything on woodworking I can, even if it does not apply to what I am currently interested in. You never know when you'll need that little bit of info locked away somwhere. I study European architecture, that has really helped me.
Plus, I always keep in mind that someone, somewhere has already done whatever it is I am trying to create. If they did it, so can I.
Oh, and I always try to make it fun, life is too short.
