A-Frame Cabin Kitchen

Listing #4260 Listed on: 10/01/2013 Company Name: Dennis Brown Furniture & Cabinets
Name: Dennis Brown

This is an A-frame cabin/house up a steep road in Southern Oregon. Bought a year ago by a now bachelor who is trying to finish the home up. Quartersawn white oak with a light red stain. Soft close Blum Tandem slides and soft close on the doors also.

The countertops were existing but are about 13 1/2" deep,. Have to be careful not to hit your head on the beams. I went with a 12" deep on top to a 21" on the bottom and small, med, and large on the drawers. The island cabinet was installed about four months ago and inspired the rest of the kitchen for this client. Curved ended and open shelves seem to be the theme here. Thanks for looking.

Interesting work and nicely executed. Is all the material solid wood panel or, the substrate is ply with veneer on top. What is the finish that has been given. The whole thing looks really cute. Great job.

Thank you for the kind words. The door panels and the cabinet finished ends are plywood with Quarter sawn White Oak veneer. All the lumber was Quarter sawn White Oak.
The finish is a Post cat clear semi gloss over a color I call simply Red ,a light red about the intensity of Golden Oak but Red not gold or Yellow.
Thanks for looking
