Absolutely gorgeous! Is this factory or custom? Did you make the fridge cabinet as well? Did you outsource the corner posts? What was the machine of choice for the radiused crown? Again, a great kitchen!

Craftmanship is beautiful. Not a big fan of the design, nothing seems to flow together well. It seems kind of chopped up. I understand the intent to make it look like furniture pieces and not cabinetry but the way the uppers just float above the refridgerator armoir looks incomplete as well as the cabinets to the left and right of the vent hood. Not a big fan of the floating valance underneath the eating bar either, seems like it would have looked better with legs at each corner considering the size of the valance. Otherwise, cabinetry looks fantastic, could have just been csutomer taste dictating design issues.

Jeff, craftsmanship looks great, but certainly not my style. Customer must be thrilled! In the bottom picture, close up of fridge/armoire, it looks like the applied door moulding is missing on the RH door. Trick of light, missing, or intentional? Nice work...

Must be the lighting that makes the moulding look missing. We are not wild about the design either (customer driven) Its the workmanship I wanted to display. We made the fridge armoir. Thanks for the comments. this is a custom kitchen and the machining used to make the crown was just a shaper and a template.

Jeff- Not sure why everyone is now a critic. I've seen many kitchens on this site that are terrible and don't get this type of scrutiny. Keep up the good work. The design is very appropriate for period.

amen to that...

Jeff:
You mentioned that the wood of choice was wormy maple. Seeing that finished product is stained, I'm assuming it was hard maple. Did you do the finish as well? If so, what was your schedule? That is beautiful work!

Fabulous kitchen, great design, great finish, definitely has a wow effect.

Great Job!, just curious on the price?

Excellent work!

That is some great looking work. Did it ever come up to maybe black out the exposed white under the bottom of the fridge armoir?

Interested in ben's comments and wondering what he or others would suggest to blend in the armoire better given the client insisted on it. Would you make it 3 foot taller and leave the cupboards out from over it? Maybe curved cornises on all overheads?

well i think you might have it there. those uppers above the refer look inaccessible anyway and seeing as they really stand out as interrupting any sort of flow to the design perhaps removing them would enhance the overall design. also looks to me like everything is a bit too cramped together, the hood and the upper to the right of it seem too close.
i agree that a lot of the work posted here is far inferior to this kitchen but really most of them don't merit criticism since they're so terrible, the fact that we're talking about this one should be taken as a compliment.

It's the craftmanship, not the style ofcabinetry. Great Job

Awesome finish..is that a black green on island with rub thru..would be interested in finish schedule as Joey mentioned.

Jeff,
Absolutely the best kitchen I have seen so far ( besides computer models ).
I am also into very high end custom work and will post my project soon.
One of my biggest problem is to get a grip on pricing. I would like to ask,
How long did it take to build, with how many people and what did you
Charge for it ( I know it wasn’t enough)

The workmanship looks great. Could you post some details as to how you priced this project and the end result. I am sure that it would help many high end woodworks in threi costings.

Props for execution. If you're using these pics in your portfolio, have someone Photoshop out the white kickboard beneath the fridge and the elec socket on the island. Easy fix.

Do you have any more closeup/detail shots?

Nice work.

BTW, any insight/involvement with the vent hood?

I guess I am just echoing the previous comment. GREAT work, individualy very fine oieces that I am sure you can and should take pride in. But as an over all package, "Yuck". If I was using any of this for advertising I would crop the pictures to the individual elements or fuse out the background on some thing like the pic of the Island.
