Do you haqve any problem with the Brazilian cherry splitting or moving to much. Everything I have ever read says that Brazilian cherry (Jatoba) Is so dense that it is better used as Industrial flooring do to its high crush resistance. How long have you been using Brazilian cherry and have you had any problems? I think that Jatoba is a great looking wood.

Jatoba has become the commodity of exotic woods with pricing reaching levels below our American cherry. With a janka handness of over 2000 this is a very durable and extremely beautiful species. Extremely hard to machine and finish to perfection. When achieved the results are simply awesome.
