Stair had slight bounce. Client not so slight. In this case leg was needed. Cleint was very pleased with entire job. We did 2 other sets of somewhat different stairs in the same home. I'll post after I re-size them.

Why didn't you tie in to the wall to eliminate the bounce, thus eliminating an eyesoar. To each their own though...

Eye sore is a subjective comment. The picture may not reflect it but the stair was several inches from the wall. The client is very happy and does not think the support leg is an eyesore.

Personally, thats the best staircase work I've seen in years! I don't have an upstairs, but want a staircase like that myself....
