We started our lumber business in September 2001 in Ironsides, Maryland (just 30 minutes from Washington, DC. Our sales have more than doubled each year for the last 3 years, and the size of our lumber warehouse has just been doubled to a total of 7,020 square feet. We carry a wide variety of domestic and exotic hardwoods in thicknesses of 4/4 to 16/4, wide-plank flooring, moldings, stair treads, fencing boards, barn lumber, fireplace mantels and utility poles for pole barns, all at wholesale prices to woodworkers.

I have approximately 20 slabs of black walnut that are approximately 14 inches wide, 4.5 feet long and 2 inches thick. I want to have the slabs resawn in half so that they are approximately 1 inch thick. The wood has been air dried for about 20 years.

Do you provide this service? If so, approximately how much would it cost and what steps would I have to go through to deliver and pick up the wood? I live in Bowie, Maryland.
