KRESKER CORE DRILLING LLC
Listing #124   Listed on: 04/16

Located on family land in Oakland, New Jersey, our sawmill operation is built around a Timberking B20 portable sawmill, and run by myself & two sons Don Jr. & Kevin . We saw to order from Oak, Maple, Pine, and some Cherry from our log inventory; we can also obtain other species of timber on customer request, we are also equipped to make moldings. In addition, we can design and build sheds, post-and-beam structures, and specialty projects.

We got into this business after hiring an outside sawmill operator to come to the property and make beams and boards from our logs for our use in building structures. At a certain point, we realized that it made sense to develop our own sawmill business to take better advantage of the timber resource. Our long-term plan is to build our volume until we are sawing every day. As the business becomes more profitable, we also have plans to build a kiln to dry stock for molding and dimensional lumber.
