Still no sign of an Altendorf.Hey I went through a lot of saws before I took the plunge.I never should have waited,it should have been one of the first tools I bought.Dead true and square,1 woman running it for the last 6 years and she easily cuts a lift of melamin a week (alone)in addition to many other tasks. My next step is to a nesting machine but the f-45 will never go.Lyle

Unfortunately, I'll have to wait a while for the saw. I'm sure it is everything you say. I've checked it out carefully and it's definetly the one I will be purchasing in the future. Until then.......

How do you like the excaliber sliding table as a substitute for a slider? I have been considering adding one till I can afford a slider.

Posted By: Michele     [01/18]
It's alright for a while but squareness is difficult to maintain.

I commented on an older post of yours about the excalibur. I had the KING version and just got my new slider. I couldn't justify the price of the attendorf and went with minimax(10foot slider). Its AWESOME , you guys out there "thinking",DO IT you won't regret it. I'm in debt but production and quality increase will pay it back in no time. Plus way easier on the back. Keep your old one though it has a million other uses.

Oh, I forgot one thing,NICE EDGEBANDER, I don't regret getting the minimax slider over the attendorf(I don't like bells and whistles anyway),BUT I DO regret getting the technomax ME15 edgebander instead holding out for a holzer(My advice to guys outthere is stay away from the hot air banders,I have all kinds of trouble with any heavy or pvc tape!
