Alan Carter Studio

Listing #632   Listed on: 04/21/2008

I design and build custom contemporary furniture and accessories. Most of my work is commissions from clients, but I do a fair amount of work on my own.
For the past few years, I've doing quite a bit of veneering and introducing curved elements into the pieces.
In addition to large furniture pieces for bedrooms, dining rooms, home theater, etc., I also create small boxes, clocks, and so on.

I just finished visiting your site. From the look of your shop, and the amount of work you have produced, I am most impressed. I really liked your choice of woods, rosewood, beefwood ( I am not familiar with that one),and the way you have used them. Your web site is also impressive. I am most envious of you and your work.
