Adhering Laminate to Gypsum Board
Contact cement or spray adhesive works well. June 7, 2008
Which glue could be best suited to join laminates to gypsum boards? Does the board need to be sanded before gluing for better results?
From contributor H:
Contact cement, and no.
From contributor M:
3M's Spray 90 works well also. I have used it for years in kitchens between the upper cabinets and backsplash. Only sand scrape high spots or specks that will hold you away from the wall.
