Adjustable Table-Height Hardware
Where to get parts for tables that can be raised and lowered. March 1, 2006
Question
A customer wants us to provide a table for a craft-center we produced. Her kids range in age from 4 years old to 10 years old. She would like the table to be able to adjust in height, depending on the demographics of the day. Does anybody have any suggestions for how to make this table raise and lower in height?

From contributor A:
Hi-lo tables are not uncommon in the marine world. You could check marine supply stores. Richelieu Hardware in Canada has a sit-stand table hardware. There should be some comparable supplier in the US. Lee Valley has several adjustable table height hardware kits.
From contributor B:
Take a look at Hafele catalog.

Doug Mockett too.
