We've been using water borne contact for 20 years. Currently spraying out of a pressure pot. Don't use a pogo pump. You will need to learn how to use it. It is different than spraying solvent borne. Do a bunch of tests, weigh the panels before and after, match the design specs for amount. Don't over apply. It is better than solvent borne. The over spray is more of a problem because the spray pattern is more like paint than sticky cobwebs. We built a spray booth with a large exhaust fan pulling through paint filters. We cover the floor with ship lap 1/8" mdf. When the build up gets to be too much just pull it up and do again. Ours lasts about 2+ years. The pinch roll is located outside of the booth and fed through an opening in the wall. Horizontal rolling "ladders" are used to move parts out of the booth for trimming, if they don't got through the pinch roll. Works well and stick is excellent. But I've had people tell me it doesn't work...They don't follow instructions! If you lay gloss laminates you won't get the spiderweb pattern showing up like with solvent borne.

I've used Wilson art H2O contact adhesive with excellent results. You can brush, spray, roll it on. Not sure if that's what your asking.
