• Overview:
◦ We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cabinetmaker to join our team.
◦ As a Cabinetmaker, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality cabinets and custom furniture according to specifications and designs.
◦ This position requires a meticulous attention to detail, a strong understanding of woodworking techniques, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Responsibilities:
◦ Construct and assemble cabinets, retail fixtures, and other wooden structures based on detailed blueprints and drawings.
◦ Accurately measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials using hand tools, woodworking machines, and power tools.
◦ Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy. Make adjustments and repairs as necessary to meet client specifications.
◦ Maintain a safe and clean workspace. Follow proper safety procedures and protocols when handling tools and equipment.
• Requirements:
◦ Working knowledge of woodworking tools & machinery
◦ Working knowledge of cabinetry & other various wood structures/products
◦ Experience working with laminates * Experience in manufacturing and assembly
◦ Must be able to take accurate measurements
◦ Must be able to read and interpret shop drawings
◦ A keen eye for detail and accuracy in all work with ability to produce good quality work
◦ Self-starter
◦ Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
◦ Flexible approach to working time to meet deadlines/peak workloads
◦ Able to work overtime/weekends when required
◦ Must be a team player
◦ 2 year minimum experience required in production or trim carpentry
• Pay based on experience: $22 baseline for minimally qualified candidate
• Schedule: Mon-Fri 8am-4:30pm
