Oversees and supervises installation crew and service staff on all cabinet installation, repair and adjustment activities; including overseeing management of materials, warranty issues, scheduling, reviewing plans with leads, determining work assignments and daily plan, resolving any issues to ensure quality and meeting exceed expectations.
Eligibility Requirements:
Ability to read cabinet drawings and specifications, layout other workers, and monitor the overall crew installation and service activities.
Thorough understanding of woodworking materials and methods.
Ability to lead crews and teach others.
Preferred: English/Spanish bilingual.
Able to work cooperatively in teams and resolve basic conflicts with little or no assistance.
Able to motivate, develop and direct people as they work, identifying the best people for tasks.
Able to manage own time and other times while dealing with competing deadlines/priorities.
Using experience, knowledge and judgement, able to work with minimum supervision.
Proficient with use of computers / mobile devices (used to track production, cost and payroll).
As needed, demonstrate proper operation of equipment and general work techniques (tools and machine operation, etc.), including safety.
Knowledge of machines, equipment and tools, including appropriate use and basic maintenance.
Able to perform detailed work and maintain production, quality and safety under pressure and deadlines.
Ability to Interact with the client in a professional and knowledgeable way.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Determines schedules, sequences, and assignments for work activities, based on work priority and skill of personnel.
Sets LEAN manufacturing objectives and goals.
Utilize daily improvement time for you and shop and employees.
Responsible for the overseeing all cabinet installations and service work including:
Initiate and manage all installation and service paperwork.
Field measure job.
Interpret and review shop drawings with leads and service staff prior to job start.
Assist leads and service staff in resolving issues as they arise.
Communicate with customers as needed to ensure customer satisfaction.
Responsible for evaluating and initiating a plan of action for all warranty work and maintain current records of all work request and follow-ups.
Examines objects, systems, or facilities, and analyzes information to determine needed installations, services, or repairs.
Compiles operational and personnel records, such as time and installation records for install team and service staff.
Recommends/initiates personnel actions, such as hires, promotions, transfers, discharges, and disciplinary measures.
Counsels employees on work-related issues and assists employees to improve skills and performance.
Monitors employees' work levels and reviews work performance, recognizing and coaching as appropriate.
Conducts or arranges for worker training in safety, repair, and maintenance techniques, operational procedures, or equipment use.
Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
Evaluate efficiency of work processes and identify and implement process improvements to optimize productivity.
Provides on-the-job skills and quality standards training to both new and seasoned employees.
Check jobs for quality installation (QC)
Complete special projects as assigned by CEO.
Always perform duties in a safe and conscientious manner.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Ability to work in an environment where fluctuating temperatures may exist between hot and cold.
Frequently alternates between shop floor production environment, office and various job sites in residential homes under construction.
Frequently works near moving mechanical parts; is exposed to vibration, humidity, changes in temperature, and loud noise.
Frequently is exposed to fumes/particulates, chemicals, moving equipment, electricity.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

18 years of age or older
Possess valid state driver’s license without restrictions.
Computer skills, including but not limited to, Microsoft Word and Excel, and Cabinet Vision
Ability to use pneumatic and electrical hand tools, machinery and saws.
Ability to perform maintenance and minor repairs on machinery and saws.
Strict adherence to corporate values and LEAN manufacturing principles
Willing to submit to pre-employment background verification, medical review and drug and alcohol screening
Willing to submit to random drug testing during employment

Job Salary:
$55K to $70K
