Description
We are seeking an experienced cabinetmaker/woodworker with managing skills to join our woodworking team! In addition to working as a cabinetmaker, you will assist the general foreman and oversee the activities of a team of production workers and shipping and receiving department.
Responsibilities:
• Assist in coordinating the daily activities of the production and operation teams and solving any issues
• Ensure all purchases arrive in timely manner, good communication with purchasing department and ship & rec personnel
• Coordinate schedule of shipments: excellent communication between production team, project managers and drivers
• Inspect all materials and finished projects before packing and shipping
Qualifications:
• Previous experience in woodwork/millwork manufacturing facility - min 5 years
• Excellent knowledge of blue prints, woodworking, tools and equipment
• Strong leadership qualities and ability to work under pressure and strict deadlines
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Needs to be a team player
• Needs to be details oriented, positive, solid, mature and reliable
• Long term oriented
