Description:
Reporting directly to the President, the Operations Manager will be responsible for all manufacturing, engineering, and work with the President on overall company strategy.
Responsibilities:
Production Oversee our plant/office (machine operators and leads, manufacturing engineers, scheduling, coordination of outside services, receiving, shipping, purchasing).
Continuous Improvement Facilitate and manage continuous improvement initiatives by establishing improvement goals.
Safety Manage our stellar safety culture.
Quality Ensure quality standards and expectations are being met to customer expectations.
Personnel - Enrich the experience and needs of our great employees.
Qualification:
Must come from Wood Products Manufacturing (Furniture, Cabinet, Store Fixtures)
Bachelors degree(MPA a plus) desired but will consider experience
Experience with Substrates, Particleboard, MDF, Plywood, Hardboard, OSB, Laminates or coverings, Thermofused Melamine TFM, High Pressure Laminate HPL, Vinyl, Foil (top-coated melamine), Powder coated, Lacquer or stain, PVC a plus
Should have 5 plus years in Operations Management with extensive overall experience in the industry
Must have excellent communication and team building skills
