I made the two cradles for my grand children one was made from Honduras Mahogany the other was made from Red Oak. They can be disassembled
Into flat section for easy storage. The wood was stained with a penetrating oil-based wood stain and the filed withed a pasted wood filler mixed with the staine. The finish is six coats of 50% mixture of Polyurethane and mineral spirits applied with cheese cloth.
