Very clean work. By the way thats a nice logo, is that a sticker, or an inlay? Doesn't look like a branding..

your kitchen looks great as well Cris. I just read up on spalting and was curious if you spalted your own material, if so, how complicated was it? I have some friends in Asheville, love the weather there.

Thank you for the comments. The logo is a 1/8 " cast brass inlay made by a company i found through Fine Woodworking. Well made and reasonabley priced (about 4$ a piece). Jeff, i did not spalt the maple myself, although i have seen it done and it didn't seem too complicated. The maple was purchased from www.nwtimber.com. and yes, the weather isn't bad, especially if you're from the midwest!

Very Nice work. How are you "mounting" the panels to the 1/4" ply? Nice Job

Thank you for the comments. The tops are concrete and the panels are 1/4" maple glued to 1/4" cherry ply, similar to how you would mount a thin bookmatch veneer.
