i really like the level of detail on the ceiling however the wall of shelving is quite sparse in comparison. was this the clients design or some other reason for it?

Great job! I especially like the coffered ceiling. I am getting ready to do a similiar ceiling and only hope it turns out near this quality. Spacing/applying the dentil moulding must have taken quite some time. I am impressed.

Very nice work. Did you do the millwork? If so, how long did it take you, and did you work alone? How long did it take you to do the installation and did you work alone on it? Did you do the finish on the wood? The reason I'm being so nosey is because I'm a solo woodworker myself, doing most everything alone. I've done many coiffured ceilings, and several full wall panelled rooms, and I was just wondering what your time frame was on this one. I typically mill my own trim, and raise my own panels, but I know so many others who sub the millwork and other such things out....such as the finish on the fine woods, I was curious about your methods. I typically always do my own finish work as well...unless the customer insists otherwise.
