Love the clean simplicity of the details and beautiful wood, but would like to know more about construction methods.

On the closed end treads and risers, are the ends housed in mortices, and how are they fastened?

I don't see any signs of fasteners in the veneer of the outside stringer. Was it veneered after assembly, and how did you do that?

I'm also wondering about the upper landing. it seems to just be a deck with no support, at least where the inside stringer ends. Is there more than showing in the first pic? Nice job, congrats.
