Company Name: Appaliachian cabinetry and woodworkingThis is my fist project and the first attempt at trying raised panels. The panels were cut on an old craftman tablesaw(my first saw). The chest is made of pine thought that a soft wood was easier to work with at the time.Hope you enjoy looking. All comments are welcome always willing to learn from my mistakes.

Nice looking chest, F. Did you follow a plan? How did you secure the (cedar?) lining? What finish? Pine can be tricky to work and trickier to finish, but it's still my favorite family of woods.

Actually the chest was my own design.I finished it with a mahogany and poly mix.The liner is tongue and grove so I glued the top and bottom runs. The chest is around 4 years old at the time of these pics and everything seems to be holding up fine. Thanks for the response.
