Straight Line Rip Return Conveyor

Listing #153   Listed on: 01/02/2016

Company Name: Custom Wood Products

Contact Name:   Dustin Orth

I have made a return conveyor for our straight line ripsaw. Used treadmills are the main part with a dump table that is electrically controlled and pneumatically driven. I have a friend who helped with the pneumatics, figuring out how big the cylinders needed to be and which valves to use. All that was acquired from McMaster Carr. If memory serves the whole thing cost me less than $1000, a bunch of nights and weekends also but when you own the company you seem to work for free. The two videos show my description and running some material. By myself I have been able to process about 300-400 BF per hour for random width glue line ready.

Bravo! Attaboy! You're my kind of shop owner. Shop-built equipment always trumps hired help.
