Suitability of Moisture Reactive PolyurethaneQ. Will a PUR glue hold up to the weather when used on outdoor furniture made from western red cedar? P.S. we live on the coast of British Columbia A. Assuming your joint is square, tight and clean and the moisture content of your wood is at least 8-10%, a PUR (moisture reactive polyurethane) will hold up very well to the weather.
