Can someone give me information on a Giben edgebander. I am looking at a new KG365. It looks like a good machine and it is priced good. The only thing that worries me is that it is made in China. Does anyone own one or have some insight?
Why take a chance of an unproven China built machine? Especially and Edgebander.
I would stick to a common brand, even a clean used machine.
Parts and service is more important to me than a cheap price on an unknown vendor pimped by Giben
I have one. Call me for a reference. I have owned 7 banders over 30 years, including scm, holzher, Brandt. All machines were good. The giben has given very good performance, also. 229.686.0119
I own one. I've been a tech for twenty years and have repaired just about every model out there. I love my giben bander because it puts banding on my panels. Yeah, I said it! Does it have a $20k propriatery homag controller capable of interacting with NASA space shuttles? No. Does it have an impossible to troubleshoot Brandt electric cabinet? No. Does it have a hair pulling, impossible to clean scm gluepot? No. Or how bout that pc front end IDM? No. I just want banding glued onto my panels. Being EXTREMELY affordable helps too.
