Can anyone please tell me of a concealed cabinet hinge that meets the following:
Face frame cabinet construction
Inlay door
1" thick door and face frame
Stainless steel

I would agree with Chris. Sugatsune is the only company offering a stainless steel concealed hinge. Your requirement for a 1" door and face frame will be a challenge though as the Sugatsune stainless steel hinge is for doors up to 20mm only.

There may however be other options. Can you tell us a little more about the project and why you are requesting stainless steel?

Thank you Dennis and Chris. This is an outdoor kitchen in East Hampton, New York, constructed with marine mahogany plywood and Spanish Cedar. It is to be installed on a masonary slab with stone tile under a "pavillion" roof structure. The cabinets will not be directly exposed to precipitation, but there is no climate control. The architect/G.C. specified all stainless hinges and slides because his client had a previous "rust issue".
The architect's assistant told me he was drop shipping a hinge to me that could be used with a little creative blocking. I was hoping for a hinge that would not require bodging.
Again, the doors and face frames are 1" thick. Doors are inlay and hinges must be stainless.

P.S. This kitchen will have a stone pizza oven, wine bar and a 4 tap kegerator. I am beginning to think there are people who make more money than woodworkers.

If the architect specified SS then I'd ask him/her to provide it. Who makes SS drawer guides?

Maybe your architect is thinking about a stainless steel Soss hinge. These are also "concealed".

Bruce - There are several stainless steel drawer slides out there. I believe both KV and Accuride offer them. Generally, they are used in cabinetry going into MRI rooms in hospitals or for marine applications.

I would suggest going with genuine mahogany over Spanish cedar. In my experience the cedar moves to much and is not as hard. In my neck of 5he woods it's also cheaper. Just my cents
