Do they make a router bit that had a large bearing and a small cutter. I would like to drill a hole in the work and route around where a door was, leaving a 1/2" lip and the center piece falls out to be used somewhere else.
Anything can be made, talk to a sharpening shop
Is there some reason that a router bit with a large template bushing on the router base would not work? You could use this with a plunge router and have a neat job done on both the door opening and the removed panel.
Perhaps I do not understand the project at hand.
Hope this helps.
I think your looking for an overhang trim bit for laminate?
basically any flush trim bit with a bearing on the end... just swap the bearing for a larger one. there are many different size bearings available.
