I have a radiused wall drawn and i used my flat back tape measurer to get an approx location of the outlets on the wall.
What function do i use to draw a line a specific length in an arc So my dimension off the right wall is 149-1/2 on a wall with a radius of 138-5/16Ē
The overall length of the wall is 295 21/32.
Am i making sense? I canít just offset the lines, because thatís based upon straight lines, where measuring along the radius of the wall, I need to place outlets at a specific length following along the curve
The length of the chord is 242-1/2 and the height is 71-3/4Ē
Follow this to lengthen/shorten an existing arc.
I donít need to lengthen or shorten the arch, rather i need to place lines along the actual arced line, to show where the outlets and switches are at. I have a flat back Fastcap tape measurer that i laid along the curved wall and now need to place lines at those dimensions
You're putting field dims to drawing? Thought you needed to do this.
Either my length of chord is incorrect or the way you have it drawn is. That 149-1/2Ē dimension should be about center. The arc is not a semi-circle.
Never the less, yes, that is what i need to do, so maybe I was mis understanding u.
I need the 149-1/2 dims, then need to come back 4-1/4 for the outlet cover plate

Yeah, so concept good. Copy your drawn arc and use the Lengthen command from the Modify dropdown. Don't select anything until you hit T for total and enter 149.5 for new length, then select the left side of the copy ... done. Repeat for 144.25 and you'll have both sides of the box.
How painful, that something so easy is not properly explained. I have no idea what he is asking.
