Anyone out there have a Biesse Klever 1224 CNC?
What are your experiences with Biesse service dept? Did I buy a lemon?
Biesse is absolutely top notch.
What issues are you having.
We are experiencing stoppage in the middle of cutting out a sheet. We are getting various error messages. I'll get my programmer to reply with more specifics. Biesse sent a tech out and didn't fix it. I don't have a lot of faith in their abilities from what I have experienced so far. I put a request in with a higher up person hoping for a better response.
I have always found all of the support guys to be top notch.
Did you buy the machine new and it always had this issue or did it just start happening? Is it under warranty?
To me this sounds like an issue with 3 phase power, but just a random guess with the little detail provided.
There are so many problems it could be, but you need to tell us exactly what, when and where it is doing when it stops.
For all you know, your operator has not greased the fingers on the spindles and it cannot make a tool change or, a sensor may be out a bit, loose, or, a low air issue.
I have 4 machines from Biesse, all work well and 2 of the cnc's run constant, most problems are lack of maint we do need to add another compressor because of low air due to the corian guys running the volume low
They finally sent the "A" team out and he knows what he is doing. I had to go to Corp. to make it happen, though. The new tech they sent (13 year veteran) makes the first guy look like an amateur. I think my area service crew needed an attitude adjustment.

I have found the service from Biesse to be nothing but the best.
Not a Biesse, but we struggled with a Stiles tech for over a year. Many errors and 3 tech visits, not under warranty. Finally got Corporate involved, on a no-charge visit they checked the machine for level. Leveled it and we have had no problems since.
