Ever wondered why some shops are seemingly always growing and seem to be doing very well and you're feeling a little stuck? Not sure what comes next? Why not spend some time with others who have been there?
The Cabinet Makers Association is a group of mostly small to medium sized shop owners and managers (1-50 employees) whose purpose share what's working and what's not going so well. We discuss all things business and shop related, from which CNC or edgebander we're buying, to growing a business, sourcing hardware and hard to find materials, software, pricing, sales and marketing, general shop stuff that will make you more profitable, hiring techniques, dealing with insurance and compliance issues and overall better ways to run a woodworking business.
Get an inside view of how other shops are doing things both in person and virtually and save a fortune learning from other's mistakes and make the pitfalls a thing of the past. Chances are one of us has "been there, done that," and will gladly share the experience. We are a group of people just like you, great at what we do, but always looking to make improvements. If your feeling stuck, get outside the walls of your shop and change your perspective and change for the better. Check out a regional event and see for yourself.
Registration is now open for our next regional event, which will be held October 26-28, 2016 in Charlotte, North Carolina.
