Edgebander end trim saw.

I have a minimax ME 30 extender that is tearing up the panel where the end trim saw plunger initially engages and stops the panel movement momentarily. I've checked the exhaust filter and it is clean. I've adjusted the micro switch both ways to no avail. Suggestions? Thanks!

I had a similar problem with a K201 bander. The saw has to finish its cycle before hitting the extent of the slides. The cure for me was to move the second end trim station sensor block toward the infeed a few millimeters. This started the front end trim earlier. I made pen marks to indicate sensor locations so that I can reset if I have to remove them for maintenance. I hope this helps.

Mark,
I’m looking into minimax now. ME35/40. Are you happy with the machine?
Thanks

I replaced my Me-30 with the Me-35 , both great machines, I would check the air pressure , 10 psi difference can effect the end cut , more so on the me-35. If you are considering the Me-35 , get pre-mill option it is great.
