Hinge Machine for drilling Steel ?

Just wondering if a hinge boring/insertion machine ( Blum & Grass etc) can use twist bits for drilling steel ? I have a constant specific task in mind. I assume the feed speed is adjustable ?
Thank you

The 35mm hole is not going to be easy. RPM is too fast for that diameter of drill.

Assuming your not planning on drilling the cup hole but rather running small twist drills in the screw/dowel hole positions or if it has line bore capacity for some small diameter automated drilling.
I do quite a bit of light steel fab here at the shop and my guess is with the pneumatic down feed with anything other than small drills you may have trouble getting enough down pressure to not burn up bits but it would really be dependent on how thick the material is your trying to drill and what diameter hole. The only other issue would be the hinge machine not having a leadscrew down feed when the bits come out the other side they will likely have a tendency to catch and pull the head down in the flutes and snap the bits.

All of the bits are 8mm shanks with a flat.
You would need some sort of collet to hold a regular twist drill bit.
I agree with the drill pressure problem.
