I am running R2011 Build 112. About (3) weeks ago, the graphics for my glass doors with grills quit working properly. The center stiles appear "hollow". If you rotate the door to the back side, they look normal. The problem is ONLY with doors with shaped top rails. I haven't downloaded any new CV versions or updates so I can't understand why it is doing this. Please, let me know if you have had this problem. A new graphics card didn't help.
It's hard to tell without seeing the problem, but maybe something (like shaped parts can cause wacky issues) is changing the size of your glass panels . Causing the panels to overlap the center stile and make them look transparent.
I want to comment on the windows 10 I by mistake let my laptop upgrade to windows 10 pro. With that said I have used CV without issue. I know people have had problems with it so I am not sure why it works for some and not others.
I was having the same problem with CV version 9 and an AMD 6450 video card. I discovered that if I disable the video card via the device manager... then open CV version 9... go back to device manager and enable the video card... the graphics issue is not present... only when I open CV with the video card enabled is the issue present.
This is a pain in the butt to have to do this but graphics are smother and faster with card enabled than with the standard Windows driver active.

video card and i'm running ver. 5.0 (i know it's a dinosaur but i own R11 and see only trivial improvements so why change?)

I contacted Cabinet Vision or whoever they are this week back first of the year. Spoke with my rep.. I don't pay for support and updates because it's too expensive, but I have this problem, is there anything I can do? Yes. We can do a one time incident with tech dept for $100 dollars. So I said I've either got a video card problem or there is a glitch in the program graphics. Now the tech is on the phone. So I said I've either got a video card problem or there is a glitch in the program graphics. After getting on my computer and looking into the problem, the tech guy said, you've either got a video card problem or there is a glitch in the program graphics. So, I get a bill for not $100 but $107. Let's not forget local sales tax! WHAT!? On a tech support call! Some things never change. I've been using CV since late '80's. Same old story.
I need a new (affordable) laptop.
The one I'm looking at has AMD.
I'd be okay with using the the on\off tweak but I noticed this in the laptop description.
"It has an AMD A9-9420 3GHz processor and AMD Radeon R5 video adapter but no dedicated video memory."
Would that mean the on\off tweak might not work?
