The main issue I have been having is with the elecrospindle module that communicates with the router to the computer. I think it may be a static issue, as it only halts when I am running a high volume of MDF doors. It is a recurring issue that Biesse had already sent a tech to replace once last year when we were still under warranty. Now that we are no longer under warranty, I had to purchase a new module kit to install myself. When I installed it, the errors were worse and I could not run the machine at all. So i put the old module back in and have to run shorter nests of MDF between jobs. This machine is only a year and a half old, and I keep it immaculate.
On top of that, every time my machine is down, and I call in for tech support, I don't get a response until the end of the day or next day. Whenever I need a part, they almost always have to order it from Italy, and then I am down for a week at a time. There is only one tech they contract out that is ever available that is local to me, and he is rarely available.
All in all, I think Biesse makes excellent machinery, I have just been frustrated mainly with their turnaround time on helping me get back up and running whenever I am down. Having a quicker response time with tech support, better stock of replacement parts here in the US, and more local techs available are the biggest suggestions I can make to them.
