Is there any way I can modify my post to keep from getting wrong direction on profile when using G41-G42 compensation? It's happening all the time now since we upgraded our AlphaCAM to the latest release.

Not sure about Alphacam but on some cam programs when you set up the file you can choose conventional or climb cut

Thanks Jerry, it's not that. Either way I get the error when cutting manufactured sheet goods (conventional), or solid wood (climb). Used to get it every now and then with our old ACAM, but I'm getting it with almost every program now that we've upgraded. It's only our re-sharpened compression spiral set with G41-G42 compensation.

Jeff,
Are the parts 2d geometry, or are you cutting 3d solids? Trying to figure out what your question is really about. Are you setting tool side and direction and then it is ignored, or is your post outputting a G41 when you really wanted G42?

Are you setting a tool direction? (Ctrl+(Space)) when drawing an individual part?
Are you using style layer processing and have a issue with your formatting in there?
