Microvellum Post Processor Toolfile Help9/20
I'm having a lot of trouble with the post processor or 'Tool File' in Microvellum, which is laid out in an Excel spread sheet... We recently got a new (old/used) machine and I need to change the code inside the toolfile. I have done so but not successfully. All I really need is to change the initial first 11 codes in the beginning, make it change 1 tool and add a couple of end codes and thats it. The end codes are no big deal...
But when I insert new cells in the Vertical Drilling Sequence, Routing Sequence, Nesting Sequence inside the spreadsheet in the beginning of the post it either A. screws up the code or B. i get a repeating code that repeats itself every 5 lines which will slow down my machine, I just want the codes in the beginning, but for some reason the code is looping them. I am using a Centroid CNC router so the code isn't very fancy. Any help or insight or even someone out there who can physically help with writing the code would be extremely appreciated. Thanks in advance!!
I feel your pain.
Why not call Mv and have them set you up with a tool file for that machine....It won't be free, but at least it'll be right.
I agree with Gary. Call MV and let then do it. I don't understand what CJ is talking about. If you are just cutting flat parts you are never doing anything complex. The MV post can handle any flat part there is.
Zach, it does work well with cabinet parts
