Alphacam manual toolpath
3/19/18
I have started messing around with Alphacam's manual toolpath featureand I have the geometry part of the path prety well figure out, but is there any way to customize feed rates at certain parts of the program? As far as I can tell it's just knob jockeying, but I don't want to be lomited to that.

don't know if this is what u are lookn for but;
after part is tooled
go to machine tab
edit machining
advanced toolpath editor
there u can hit the ++
++
& it will open all operations
& then u can edit speeds & feeds
individually.
any tool path that is bi-directional
can't be edited in there.
it will have to be edited in operations tab
sorry if not what u r looking for.

I am actually looking to custom tailor speeds at certain areas to avois blowout, and also speed up when needed, possibly drop spindle speeds in certain areas to avoid burning.

Have you looked at "slow down for corners"? What material are you cutting? We have been cutting solid wood for some time and there are cutting strategies that will minimize if not eliminate blowout.

It should be under edit machining. Is it solid wood you are trying to cut without blowout?
