Anybody ever had to bleach vertical grain
Thank you for any feedback.
yes. just recently submitted some rift douglas fir samples that i had to bleach to get rid of the reddish tint. Doesnt do much on the first application but after about 3 times it gets pretty white. u then used a little white p63 vinyl basecoat diluted heavily in some acetone to achieve the final white i was looking for. rather nice looking.
What did you use for the bleaching prior to the p63 Base ?
Thank you ,
Kleen strip 2 part bleach. (A + B).. its the strongest stuff ive found. Hard to find these days tho. They used to stock it at local hd. I ordered a few cases of it and have plenty for future projects lol.
