paint pvc trim and beadboard with CV?4/27
We have a client that wants us to paint some of their bathroom trim to match the cabinets. PVC baseboard, shoe mold, and the t&g pvc beadboard for vanity back splash.
I know there's paintable pvc edgeband, but will conversion varnish hold up on these pvc products?
Spraying two coats SW Kemvar Plus in most cases. I do have white vinyl primer if I really need to use it.
I would do it only if the customer signs a release that you aren't left holding a peeling problem. Will it work? more than likely but since it isn't the best way YOU would do it tell them that.
Sherwin-Williams has a reputation for having a handle on painting PVC. Consider giving their industrial coatings division a call if there isn't branch with that experience locally.
