How do adjust the saw for heeling?
Does it do heeling on the horizontal cuts as well as vertical? If it does, your saw carriage bar may be out of square with the frame. The other way is the on the saw head turning limits out of wack. Help or not?
Thanks for the reply. I really haven't done any ripping on it. I just recently came in the mail and I'm trying to set it up. Ill check it when I get back in there this afternoon. The saw seems to be cutting fairly square from what I've checked by pulling diagonals.
Where on the head is the adjustment at?
On the saw head are two weird looking black bar assemblies about 1 1/2" long. They will engage the vertical beam when the saw head is put in either the vertical or horizontal position. They are adjustable by loosening 2 allen screws and sliding the tapered bars just slightly to get a saw head angle change. This will take some patience to get right, quite a few scraps also. When was the last time you recut your material support fingers? After cutting some pieces and checking for square you'll need to do it on the bottom support and the mid ones and check each one.
I have just received the saw in the mail (used) and I'm trying to get it set up. I haven't trimmed the fingers yet.
