upcut saw blade5/18
I'm looking for some recommendations on a 14" upcut saw blade for a new to me whirlwind.
I've searched other posts and read everything to 0 - neg. hook to 10 degree hook blades.
I'm cutting 2" cedar that is very prone to chipping and would like a "perfect" cut.
I understand a high tooth count and a stiff blade is best .I'm looking at blades with 120 teeth anything else to look for.
We don't cut cedar so I can't give you a true testimonial, but we have been using the following from Super Thin Saws with good success on hardwoods (hickory, white oak, hard maple, etc).
Tooth count would go down on a 14".
We use 18" Kanefusa ( Board Pro) 0-15-15-15 #7J91648070116.
