Kentwood / Leadermac Moulders4/4
I am looking for people that have had experience with Kentwood or Leadermac moulders. We are considering a moulder and looking at all the options.
I believe the way this works is if you have something "not so positive" to say you will have to email me or this thread will be removed.
We ran a 2002 Weinig Unimat 23E for about ten years, we bought it used. We had no problems with this machine other than the occasional feed issue. The only thing we ever did to that machine was put a set of belts on it. That being said, we just purchased a new Kentwood M609. We went with the Kentwood based on more bang for our buck. We also have a dealer and a service tech that is pretty close to us. So far we love the Moulder and have no regrets.
I run a Kentwood 612HD and we compared Kentwood to Leadermac. I agree more bang for the buck but I also run a Weinig and just everything about the Weinig is machined more precisely. i.e. You can loosen a fence to adjust it forward/backward without causing a bunch of of side to side slop just because it was loosened.
