Help: Do i need Makita 5402 415MM (16-5/16′) – CIRCULAR SAW5/29
I never do rounded coffin top, and wish to experiment it. I need one extra circular saw to convert it to table saw, and i current have one Makita 5590NB 9 1/2" circular saw.
Do i need 16" Makita circular saw to cut rounded coffin top, or 9" Makita circular is sufficient for cutting rounded coffin top.?
No offence meant, but you can't expect to get a useful answer to such a vague question. Post a drawing, picture or accurate description of what you are trying to make and you will probably get a practical reply.
If a tablesaw is what you need, get a tablesaw with enough capacity for the job. Cobbing one out of a handheld circular saw is unlikely to be a good solution.
Let us know how your new purchase works out.
bought another 9 1/4" makita circular saw. "Too small" my teacher told me.
Was OP able to do it? I have table saw already and my circular saw buying decision is still in progress. Makita isn't on my list, but is it a good one? Should I consider it? Currently I got three choices from one review site.
