Old School Planer1/22
I am seeking info on a 1947 Monarch Model 41 20" planner. Where to find a manual, any info on setup, ect. The last time I had exposure to a large heavy duty was 1967---1969 High School Shop. My inheritance included an ~130 yo house of Southern Heart Pine. I have denailed and pegged. Plan to dress and sell.

There's a ton of knowledge on old equipment contributing to that site. If you can't find help over there your probably out of luck.
I did a search on the OWWM website, and found out that the Monarch planers were made by American Sawmill Machinery. A search under that name on Vintage Machinery revealed several publication reprints for the Model 41 planer. Below is a link to them:
